A dedicated Instructor, Tim Root is also a Composer, Performer, Improvisor and Sound Designer. His music has been recorded and performed both locally and and in numerous west-coast venues and festivals. He has designed and mixed sound for theater, television and the music industry for over 25 years with clients ranging from the smallest of local theatres to ABC, MSNBC and the San Francisco Pops.
He holds a Master's Degree in Music Composition and Electronic Media from Mills College, and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition from the University of California, San Diego.
